Junior Nomination Ages – You nominate your child for the age they will be turning in 2026 the year of the tournament. For Example if they are born 2016, they will be 10 in 2026 so would nominate for U10s.

Sunday – 12th October 2025 – Times and Location TBC

Fees & Orders Due

Monday 20th October 2025.
Extensions cannot given. Paid Shadows will be pulled into the squads of 16 if named players fail to register on time.

Costs

UNIFORM

The 2025 uniform design will be worn again for 2026. If your child already has this uniform please ensure you can locate it and that it still fits. We are unable to order extras after the payment due date. It is a requirement for all players to wear the correct Caloundra Jets 2025-2026 full uniform. New purchases must be completed at the same time as registering (Shirt/Singlet plus Shorts/Tights).

SHIRT NUMBERS – The club will block existing shirt numbers for 2025 Junior State Cup players that are selected again for 2026 JSC teams. The same applies for Senior State Cup players. If you intend on using a JSC shirt for SSC or vice versa, you must email caloundra@oztag.com urgently. We do not cross reference across separate tournaments. 

Kids shirts sizes are all listed as ‘BOYS’. Uniforms are made to order and cannot be changed once sent. Please take your time to ensure accuracy. The club does not carry spare stock to swap.

2026 JSC TEAMS

Successful Players – If your child is named in the top 16 Playing Squad they MUST register on the Payment Link Below by MONDAY 20th October to secure their spot. Extensions cannot given. Paid Shadows will be pulled into the squads of 16 if named players fail to register on time.
If your child played in 2025 for Caloundra Jets and would like to use their uniform again, please EMAIL caloundra@oztag.com with your Childs NAME, DOB, and their SHIRT NUMBER from 2025 and we will endeavour to block them out.

Shadow Players – Shadows are named in order of who will be brought into the team, in the event of a withdrawal from the 16 playing squad. To secure your childs spot as a shadow player you MUST register and order a playing uniform (Top and Bottoms) by Midnight Monday 20th October. Failure to pay on time will forfeit the shadow position.

Players Pool – If your child was unsuccessful or could not attend the trials they can be eligible for the Players Pool. Players pool is a pool of players that QLD Oztag can pull from to fill other teams in other regions that may need additional players for State Cup. For Example – Your child is 12 Boys, and Townsville 12 Boys needs additional players. Qld Oztag can allocate your child to that team for the tournament. If they are assigned to non-local regions they are welcome to train with the Jets teams to keep their skills up, and then they would play with their allocated team on the weekend of the tournament. If your child would be interested in this option, please EMAIL caloundra@oztag.com with your childs NAME, DOB, and INTERESTED IN PLAYERS POOL and we can discuss next steps. Placement is not guaranteed but refunds will be given should your child not be placed in a team.

State Cup Coaching Applications for 2026 Teams

If you are interested in coaching a 2026 State Cup Junior Team, please email caloundra@oztag.com with your Name, and Interested Division and will discuss next steps.

Note: Refunds will not be processed after 21st October 2025.

Trial Day Info

• Players unavailable for trials but want to play should also nominate. 
• Nominated Players unavailable to trial are to send reasons by email.  
• Once date of Nomination has passed trials will be organised. 
• Times and location will be text to nominated players, and posted on our social media sites.
• Please be aware of tournament dates, don’t nominate if you are unavailable on tournament dates. 
• Selectors will be present at trials.  
• Teams will be posted the days following the trial on this website.

Players Pool

• Players unavailable for trials or players that miss out on selection can be placed in the Players Pool. 
• If our teams have full sides you can be picked up by another team from another region. 
• All local competition fees must be up to date to be placed in pool. 
• You do not choose who you will play for you will be placed in a team by Qld Oztag.
